I did a wedding today at the District Court in D.C. Everyone was beautiful. Even this fella. He passed us in the main lobby and the only thing I could think of was “my Jesus, there goes, and still is, Cross Thompson”.
I didn’t say hello though.
Even though I shot him before - he’d have no idea who or what I was.

woke up this morning to an old thing made new….
today smelled like lilies
or some kind of flower
it smelled extremely sweet
if a flower ever made my nose hairs cringe with the tickle of sweet
today would’ve been that day
and it was perfect because
it’s pretty much been like this all week
and for that i’m grateful.
