I wonder how African-Americans will incorporate Peach Ciroc into hip-hop songs now that it appears to be the new Courvoisier or NUVO or Henny or whatever alcoholic cliche’ you wanna throw out there. Okay - I’ll say it: Peach Ciroc is the new Obama.
Have you seen how many cell phone shots of this thing managed to float around my phone the interwebs?
That Awkward Moment When the Vice President Uses the Communal Microwave in Your Office:
Preci:I wish she had a microwave in her office. This is so awkward. Three minutes and thirty seconds of small talk.
Quill:Yea that has to be extremely awkward: 1.) Knowing that your six-figure salary is being side-eyed by the person you're having small talk with, 2.) You have the title of Vice President and an office the size of a small living room, with a table, but no microwave or mini-fridge/bar, 3.) You're developing cancer by standing at the microwave for a frozen meal that really isn't half the calories. It's just half the taste. Awkward indeed.
i enjoyed this go round. there wasn’t as much themed stuff going on with the daily thing, but i enjoyed it. i will say it was bit awkward and eye-opening to watch myself go from inspired daily to depressed just the same. i’m hoping with my next return i’ll be able to have a better consistent.
for a second i was wondering where my inspiration would come from. the photographers and the poets, the writers and the revolutionaries, the models and the dick, the cars and the trains - my god the trains - i would miss it all. but it just gives me a reason to continue living off the net.
living off the net.
i wonder what that’s going to be like. no tumblr but a book. no twitter but out shooting. *laughter* i’m totally bullshitting myself at this point. i’ve been exiting stage right from the interwebs for 2 years now. i guess it’s all apart of balancing my addictive personality.
there has to be a happy medium.
i will try to find more of a niche. i would like there to be one thing that i’m known for. no more lists. more poetry. more willing to reblog. more original content. more text. i have to ask myself, ‘what do you want to be known for’ and i also have to consider whether i want to be net popular.
i think about that a lot too…
people who are internet celebrities or popular or followed by the masses (you get my drift), i wonder a lot about how much those people actually care. and even more so if they care offline. it’s like the truman show. you watch and you follow and you retweet and you reblog and you share links and you comment and you worship and you idolize and then….
